Introducing Mezzo Status Notifications: Stay Updated on Your Catalog
We’re making it easier for Mezzo creators to stay informed about what’s happening behind the scenes with their music catalogs.
We’re excited to introduce Status Notifications, a new automated update feature designed to provide timely progress updates about your catalog, registrations, claims, corrections, reviews, and other administration activity.
When a meaningful update is added to your catalog project, an email notification will be sent directly to the email address associated with your account. That means greater visibility into the work being completed on your behalf — without needing to reach out for routine status updates.
What You’ll Receive Updates About
Status Notifications may be sent for activity including:
- New song registrations
- Existing work claims
- Catalog transfers
- Registration corrections or revisions
- Catalog matching and audit progress
- Completed milestones
- Items requiring additional information
- Important next steps in the administration process
More Visibility Into Your Catalog
Music administration often involves multiple registrations, rights organizations, claims, corrections, matching processes, and third-party timelines. Our new notification system gives you another way to stay connected to that process as your catalog moves forward.
Each notification will include a clear summary of the latest meaningful activity associated with your catalog or project.
Fewer Routine Follow-Ups
You shouldn’t have to wonder whether work is moving.
Status Notifications are designed to reduce the need for routine “any updates?” emails by proactively letting you know when meaningful progress has been made, an important milestone has been reached, or additional information is needed from you.
What Won’t Be Included
Not every internal action will generate an email.
Internal team notes, technical troubleshooting, research discussions, and routine operational activity will remain within Mezzo’s internal workflow. Notifications will be reserved for updates that are relevant to the progress or status of your catalog.
What the Email Will Look Like
Notifications will typically arrive with a subject line such as:
Mezzo Update: New Update on Your Catalog
The email will identify the relevant client or catalog project and provide a concise summary of the latest update.
Because some notifications are generated automatically, replies to these messages may not be monitored. If an update requires action from you, the notification will provide additional instructions when applicable.
