Moms In Music Brunch Recap
Faith Evans, Dionne Farris, and choreographer Jamaica Craft were honored in Atlanta during an industry celebration of moms in music held on Friday May 19, 2023. In attendance at the intimate event were R&B group Brownstone, Tameka Foster Raymond, Towanda Braxton, executives from the Recording Academy, BMI, and ASCAP, and a bevy of rap moms including the mothers of Future, Lil Durk, K-Camp, Lil Yachty and Zaytoven.

A series by The MLC highlights songwriter members in candid conversations about music, careers, and personal journeys. Our Black Music Month edition, moderated by Janishia Jones, CEO of Fresh ‘N Sassy Productions, features a panel of talented Black women songwriters: Latashá: WorldBuilding Music Artist, Stephanie Jacques: Songwriter, Artist, and Creator, and Tami LaTrell: Multiplatinum Grammy Nominated Songwriter and CEO of The Mezzo Agency.

THE MEZZO AGENCY RECEIVES $25,000 POWERSHIFT GRANT FROM TRINET & “SHARK” DAYMOND JOHN
